Disney Musical Finding Nemo KidsMusical ArtsWe are thrilled to announce that this year we will be offering an after school musical theater program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. We’ve submitted our application to partner with the Hennepin Arts: Disney Musicals in Schools program for this year's production of Finding Nemo Kids! This 30-minute musical showcases the beloved story from the 2003 film through dialogue, dance, and musical numbers. If you like to act, sing, or dance, we hope that you join us for a wonderful journey swimming together in the big blue world! Alongside Profe Domi, Profe Lina, and Sra. Maldonado, we hope to see you on stage! Hennepin Arts - Disney Musicals in Schools Video Program Calendar Draft The cost to participate in the program is $500 per student and includes after school care from 4:00-5:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for those not already enrolled in Aventuras. Students in Aventuras can attend as part of the Aventuras tuition but must commit to consistent attendance. Fees will be billed monthly in October, November, December, January, February, and March, so full price is $85/month. Ritmo en AccionMusic and TheaterEn nuestra extracurricular los niños y niñas podrán divertirse a través de la música y conseguirán interiorizar el ritmo en el cuerpo a través de la escucha de la música y su interpretación corporal e instrumental. Se pondrán en práctica juegos y dinámicas de ritmo, percusión corporal, rutinas con percusión e iniciación a la batucada. Va dirigida a niños y niñas de 8 a 10 años, debido a que aprenderán todo lo que necesitan en la propia extracurricular pero necesitan unas nociones muy básicas de música que niños más pequeños pueden no tener, al igual que alumnos mayores de 10 años tendrán mejores habilidades de música que las que proporcionamos, ya que es un acercamiento al ritmo y una introducción a la batucada.Los materiales que utilizaremos serán botes de pintura, pinturas para decorar, palillos de madera (batutas), un equipo para reproducir la música (altavoz).El vocabulario en español que aprenderán los niños es sobre los nombres de los instrumentos de percusión, las partes del cuerpo y distintos estilos de ritmos y música.
